They don't air the Phantom games on TV anymore. Can you blame them? The decision to open the season in March didn't help either.
Last year's abysmal 30-13 record had everything to do with that. As you know, the ballpark had less deadbeats in the seats than there were at Adolf Hitler's funeral from what I hear.
None of the three or four handfuls of folks in the stand was less lucky than I was. I was sitting behind third base with my once trusty Johhny Logan mitt and two foul balls came screaming right at me.
The first bounced off my glove and back onto the playing field. The second knocked the mustard and onions off my hot dog. What were the odds of that?
Would I return to Phantom Field? Are you kidding me? I don't care if I never come back.
