The Last Gangster

Before the big guy from Chicago began doing time for not letting H&R Block do his income tax, and you-know-who got his final St. Valentine Day greeting, Joe Corrolo was ranked third on the AP Gangsters Top Ten.
It was a badge of dishonor he wore proudly. But with prohibition ending, his beer distributorship drying up, and both his Ma and his Moll starting to say nice things about him to the point of embarrassment, Joe retired to his famous bathtub to read about Dick Tracy, Tess Trueheart, Sam Ketchum and the rest of the Sunday funnies gang.
Fact is, this legal stuff was tasting so good, Joe packed his trusty gat away before it got him into some of that old time trouble he'd seen.
Lordy, lordy!
