A Date with Elvis

Sheila Sherran cried through the whole concert, and even managed to touch The King and had given him her favorite scarf, the lavendar one of pure silk. He sniffed its heady scent, kissed it with those sensuous lips and pressed it close to his beating heart before the huge spillover crowd. The entire delirious evening encaptured the most exciting, the most romantic moments of her young life.
And David Madison had made it all possible, had spent an entire paycheck to purchase those seats right up front and, when it sadly ended had dropped her off in that beautiful AMX sports car he had rented just for that magical occasion. Then he kissed her gently at her door and left quietly, careful not to disturb her reverie.
In the crystal morning, Sheila realized what she should've known all along. Her date had been with Elvis but The King was not the love of her life after all.
