The Perfect Woman
by Francis Michael Dattilo, Jr.
Professor Higby had done it: he had single-handedly invented the perfect woman.
Honey-colored tresses.
The fluttering eyelids.
The full red lips whispering sweet nothings.
The lovely peaks and valleys.
And the legs. The long shapely legs.
Trouble is it had taken Professor Higby too long. Too many, many years.
The EMS arrived at 8.
But got to the hospital too late.
Too, the EMS caught all the lights. And did not even get him to the church on time for last rites.
The moral? As the song goes Love the one you're with.
Who you got is probably a lot more than you deserve.
